For those of you who are not apart of the AOW or hadn't heard, I, Jacob "Ace" Davis am the new AOW World Champion. Using my self-written Money in the Bank clause, I challenged Nick Hrebien to a match and he never arrived, allowing me to become the new champion.
Give your thoughts on the angle and how you thought it went over in here.

But in all honesty, Nick was a cocky monster heel and I win the title from him, doesn't that automatically make me a face?

Wait a minute, maybe I lost something or maybe I'm too new to understand. Mr Ace Davis fought no one to win the AOW world title and he is proud of the fact he is a World Champion.
Personally I prefer to beat a champion instead being handed a championship, sometimes the truth hurts

I challenged the champ to a match and he didn't show up, therefore I win. It's like forfeiting in a sport when you're a kid, they didn't show up so you get credit for winning, a win's a win's a win.
But I know that I will need to prove myself and defend that belt to gain credibility, although I was the 2nd highest scorer on the card so I somewhat earned/deserve it.

Ace, just watch what you say, cause there's a whole group of guys waiting, chomping at the bit to get a shot at the champ, if you can even call yourself that. You might wanna watch out for the guys in the lead of the round robin challenge. In case you don't know, that would be Greg Thomas and... oh shit, who's that other guy? umm, oh yeah, ME.
